Thanks Robert-for me an iconic photograph taken from the Battle of Britain time in 1940 is an iconic photograph of a shot down CR-42 which landed in England and someone sitting astride the CR-42 which is nose down-tail-in-the-air.
This picture has been used many times in various books..
