What Country will be next?

what country will be next as a superpower? i am a junior in high school and want to learn Japanese. my grandmother is Japanese and would love to teach me as i would be the only other one to learn the language. i know it would be good to learn any language but will japan have a big impact in the future to make it useful. if my memory is correct from world history they cannot have any form of nuclear weapons so would that effect them from having a big impact in the future. also im probably going to be majoring in chemistry if that helps. sorry if this isnt appropriate for this forum. thanks.

Well if you want to go to college and they see that you know Japanese it would look good also you should because it could help you in the future.
