I don't know if you'd consider him a superhero, but I was always partial to Nick Fury (both of the Howling Commandos and S.H.I.E.L.D).

true nick fury is good in both comics but he's no match for the Amazing Spider-man I didn't like the movie that much but its ok.

..when the powers that be decided to cast David Hasselhoff of "Baywatch" fame to the title role. Sorry, but he doesn't have the Nick Fury attitude and couldn't possess it even if threatened with a chainsaw.
Have you heard who the villains are going to be in the next "Spiderman" movie yet? I've heard rumors but nothing solid.

Nick Fury, especially the old Steranko version of him, was always cool as h-e-double tooth picks...
but the movie sucked. Truly and deeply. But marvel's new version of Fury in the Ultimates arena is cool- Nick as a strong character, still cyclopean, but black.. cool...
