You are right amigo, it is censorship and I don't agree with it. I am not saying that the charges were wrong, but I am saying they should have been left so we could see what each was and bring opinions pro and con. If anyone posts BS WE should be allowed to decide, not some moderator, we were the mud flies over there not them, it is us that is being demeaned not these invisible turkeys.

Way to go, Bandman!! Here I've spent years looking for the needle in the haystack. Helluva lot of good it will to to find the needle, now that you guys have gone and lost the thread. Another snowstorm headed my may. I spent two days last week where I couldn't even make it to the road. Looks like this week will be a repeat. Glad I "semi-retired" and no longer mess with the cattle. I'm going to make a vittles run this afternoon and prepare to hunker in with some good music, good books and good food.

Seems at our age we tend to lose everything but weight, we lose our hair, our teeth, our way, our minds and now this thread rats.

39M..Do you mean orders, DD214 (yours not someone elses)form 20 etc..Lets start with orders for the CIB or assigning you to Recon, or are you talking about the same chronological non-sense you posted before? ...As I said , If you are a Nam vet , why all the nonsense? You were not in the DR during the invasion, why do you insist on this? It was impossible, unless you are a magician. You think everyone is out to discredit you, but you are doing that all by yourslef.unfortunately for you, people out here are not brainless as you indicated in another of your posts. Perhaps this is why you get so upset, no one is buying your nonsense. I have nothing but respect for those that served in country, no matter their MOS. If you are serious, I will be more than happy to exchange documents with you..better yet, lets have the stolen valor network request our records...that way no one can be accused of presenting phony documents...Ball is in your court

Ok Ted, I will make one attempt at this, Although I don't know why, you and others don't believe anything I say so I'm just wasting my time. I didn't say I was in DR during the invasion, I got there with the last of three 82nd brigades. I did say what the Sgt told us as we were in route to DR. We were not airborne so we were used mostly as security guards for the front gates. How you got to your unit in Vietnam depended on what unit and what time you were there. I got to Pleiku "Repo Depo" with orders for the 1/35 3/25 inf. The 1/35 was in Duc Ph at the time. I went there and checked in with BN HQ, along with many others, were then assigned to a unit, no orders or paperwork. Just "Your Going to A company or B company or were ever. The " chronological non-sense " can be found in the 25th and 4th cacti green history. Then you can write a letter to the editor proclaiming the history to be non-sense. 39m Internet doesn't mean squat..show me orders. CIB, Pathfinder and re-read your posts, you elude that you were awakened at oh dark thiirty, the day after AIT and whisked away to the DR to join in taking of the airfield, I guess they forgot to take it back in April, and got involved in a firefight and yada..yada yada...If you like I could repost it, but, I am done arguing with you and trying to get you to understand that your post don't make sense and you continue to tapdance around the issues. Your "history" using cut and paste off the net is almost child like. This is the third time we have had this discussion. Why don't you want to produce documents? You continue to ramble about the web.Maybe someone else buys your BS, I do not.

39M..No orders, no DD214? I and every other real vet have them. all this does is show exactly what you are....a phoney...If by some minute chance you did serve in vietnam, man you need to proceed to the nearest VA hospital and seek help for your delusions of grandeur. . Your responses are the exact reason you are banned from other sites(and there is more than one) that contain real veterans. I am going away, but not because you told me to, I' just prefer to have discussions with veterans.that don't embellish their military service and can decipher reality from fiction...tốt bằng và chúc may mắn

you just read what ever you want to in a post. I said N O O R D E R S not no 214. It's been 40+ years, You think I still have orders? WTF is wrong with you? Just were is your military History ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I didn't embellish anything, You have a problem with 3rd grade reading comprehension You stated that the 1/35 was not at hill 875, Just how would you know that. The 1/35 and 2/35 was all over that area. The 2/35 was the unit that walked in 2 days after we left on a re-supply chopper. Soon as you post your military history Ron -- 1/35 3/4 infantry Vietnam 67-68

Man you are a piece of work.. I looked Hill 875 up on the internet just like you tell people to do and it list the units involved...on top of that I have several very good fiends who served in the 173rd and were involved, so I talked to them, thats how I know. Also, its been 46 years since I joined the Army and I have copies of every order that was ever issued to me. I am not going to waste my time detailing "my History" I served in the Army from 63-78, was in Vietnam 1966-68-71 and I have the orders to prove it. I was wounded three times and I have the orders to prove it, I have a CIB and I have the orders to prove it. Also a DD214 to prove it....So take your cut and paste history and put it where the sun doesn't shine.. That site you got banned from must breed wannabe's we are fixing to bust another one over there..Oh, and .anytime you would like to meet and compare 214's, you just say the word bubba..

If you don't have copies of your orders, ask St. Louis for copies. Whining that you don't have them makes you seem to be unable to back up your assertions. At the moment, you are in the "unproven" category teetering toward the "wannabe" call. -- Honor and Courage

I ain't in this fight, yet, but I too have almost every printed order I was given along with my finance records and my medical records. I was in from 61 to 83, I can't imagine dealing with VA and many civilian organizations with out them, I have each DD214 I got after each reenlistment, All the letters of commendation my P-38 everything but my hair, my sanity and my boyish good looks.
