If Bill Nye saw an obviously out of this world craft, as so many other have and attested to, what would he do? Keep it quiet to protect his reputation? Tell it to the world opening himself to the same debunkers and skeptics like himself that claim an eyewitness account is irrelevant? It's easy to criticize and be cynical when you haven't had the experience.

Bill seems to be the type that would rationalize it away and/or be quiet about it. Many scientists have already done this and are still doing this. When you are in the public eye (and you've got something to lose), every word is carefully chosen. The older we get, the less we care and the more likely we are to tell our secrets and/or what's on our minds. Bill will spill his alien abduction beans when he's over 70.
I bet he's loving all this free advertisement he's getting from this thread, too.
