America is the world's first only super-power failing to win a war in one year
May 17, 2004 6:57 PM

No larger than one of its 50 states, Iraq continues to resist the floundering invasion of the mighty America still failing to secure a victory after more than one entire year. As "super-powers" go, America more resembles a pussy cat. "Gratitude is a sickness suffered by dogs". Josef Stalin (1879-1953)

And who says we're losing? I've said it before, I'll say it again. Libs don't know what the definition of "IS" is; they don't know what the definition of "sex" is; they don't know what an SUV is; they don't know what the definition of "international coalition" is; they don't know the definition of "marriage" is; they can't distinguish between the good guys and the bad guys of the world; Americans are imperialist pigs while our enemies are simply "misunderstood"....bottom line, you just can't win with libs today. And they claim to be "people of reason." USA! USA! USA! I'm christian, I'm Catholic, I'm American, I'm white, I'm a male, I'm heterosexual, I'm conservative, I use common sense, I'm a flag waiver, I'm from the south, I'm patriotic, I'm pro-life, I believe in simple truths, I don't like bad guys, I like the good guys, and dog gone it, I like me.

It took us four years to win in the Big Deuce...

...and against three plainly visible enemies, even with such allies as we had then, it was no walk in the park. Let me give you some advice, Hayek. If Kerry should pull off a victory in November by some grand stretch of the imagination, I suggest you find the nearest Army-Navy surplus store and buy yourself two or three sets of just-your-size fatigues. Then I suggest you purchase a high-powered revolver or automatic and learn how to use it. Once our troops are gone from the Middle East, and the bombs start going off in our streets, you should get used to the idea of wearing those fatigues and carrying that gun with you at all times. Chances are that, like me, you'll be dressed that way for most of the rest of your life, if not all of it. Welcome to the front lines, soldier. Here's hoping you survive...

> And who says we're losing? You won the War, no question - but things are not going as planned. Support for the President is down. Support for the War is down. I'd say one could make a good argument that you are losing, if not the War, then the peace. > I've said it before, I'll say it again. Libs don't > know what the definition of "IS" is; You can play little word games, but I assure you I know the definition of the word is. Can't your guys let go of the whole Clinton/Lewinski thing. > what the definition of "sex" is; they don't know ??? Again, give it up - we all know Clinton engaged in sexual relations with that woman. Clinton, and about half the American population have cheated on their wives. > what an SUV is; Sorry, I don't know the reference you're making here. they don't know what the definition > of "international coalition" is; No, but they know how use sarcasm when describing an international coalition - while Britian, Spain and US do make up an international coalition - in the strictest sense of the word, it's hardly a ringing endorsement of US policy when about 85% of the coalition trops are US. (I'd say that makes the coalition 85% domestic, and 15% international) they don't know the > definition of "marriage" is; Of course you're refering to gay marriage. I don't know if you're familiar with the word McJob, but it's a real word and it didn't exist a year ago. Words change - the gay marriage issue is not about semantics - it's about equality. I'm pretty sure your opposition to gay marriage is not because of a definition in the dictionary. I'm pretty sure you'd be against it if you the definition was changed. > between the good guys and the bad guys of the world; Well, that's not always an easy thing to to. >Support for the President is down. Support for the War is down. You libs have been saying that about Bush for months now and i just frown upon it. The second point however, i have to agree. I'm tired of Bush playing footsie and politics with our enemies and i feel he's not doing enough to win the war. >You can play little word games, but I assure you I know the definition of the word is. Can't your guys let go of the whole Clinton/Lewinski thing. And can't your guys get over the whole "the 2000 election was stolen?" >??? Again, give it up - we all know Clinton engaged in sexual relations with that woman. Clinton, and about half the American population have cheated on their wives. yep, and the other half didn't. The other half should be ashamed of themselves. >> what an SUV is; >Sorry, I don't know the reference you're making here. Ummmmm, one day Kerry says he has many SUVs and later, he claims his SUVs are his "family's SUVs" and they're really not mine. >No, but they know how use sarcasm when describing an international coalition - while Britian, Spain and US do make up an international coalition - in the strictest sense of the word, it's hardly a ringing endorsement of US policy when about 85% of the coalition trops are US. How insulting not to consider them part of our coalition. >Of course you're refering to gay marriage. I don't know if you're familiar with the word McJob, I'm not talking about McJob >I'm pretty sure your opposition to gay marriage is not because of a definition in the dictionary. You're right. I have my reasons. And no, i'm not a homophobe like you libs are so easily to conclude to with your conspiracy theories that are never true. > between the good guys and the bad guys of the world; >Well, that's not always an easy thing to to. Nelson Mandela was a terrorist - I also think he was a good guy. Well good for you. > Canada! Canada! Hey hayek, we could win this war with 1 damn bomb couldn't we

One bomb, end of story, end of problem. Right. No loss of American life and no fear of retribution because there's 17,000 more where that came from. Would you like that? No?!? Well, instead we are catering to Muslim sensitivites. Every other day is some great religous celebration. Every mound of filthy dirt is some great religous site. We don't want to inflame the "Arab street" while they're cutting off people's heads and killing innocent Muslims. While all the time they laugh at us for being weak, your feeble mindset included. But oh my God! If we fought this war aggressive and with maximum violence the crybaby self-pitying Muslims would be the first to cry foul. The Blame-America-Firsters who are critcizing the lack of speed would be screaming the Bush is Hitler, America is fascist talk again. But hey hayek, you might get your wish yet. It's still not too late to turn Najareef into Nagasaki.

Hayek, there's been more than 2 wars.. Do you even know what you're talking about?????????

How long did the USSR fight the Afghans? I take it that you HAVE heard of the Soviet Union??? Well if you haven't, they were a superpower (keep in mind that there has only been 2 superpowers Okay?) Now after you internalize that, here's a whopper! This superpower known as the USSR, the Soviet Union, or the Big Red Bear invaded a Muslim country in 1979. And not to liberate this country but to take it over to add to the Soviet Empire. It took this country known as the USSR 8 years before they turned tail and ran. They ran not because of those highly-trained Muslims but because of the billions of dollars the US poured to offset Soviet power. After all, turnabout is fair play since China and the USSR did the same thing to the US in a conflict called the Vietnam War. I'll explain that war to you in another post.

How about the UK losing to the US in the revolutionary war?
May 18, 2004 3:16 PM

It took way more than a year for the british to lose that one. How about the USSR and Afghanistan? it can't be either funny, ironic or even useful as situationalist poetic terrorism if it doesn't ring true in the ears of the reader..... Back up your factually unsound post please. Why is it only independents and conservatives that back up posts with fact. I now know not to amswer to your blatant anti-American posts because you lack the abiltiy to respond wiht anything at all. Even some of the extreme leftist posters respond with their usual, almost comical, anti-American ranting and ravings. B But you ......Nothing.

Read this exchange between myself and CrotchScratchFever. CrotchScratch: "No, but they know how use sarcasm when describing an international coalition - while Britian, Spain and US do make up an international coalition - in the strictest sense of the word, it's hardly a ringing endorsement of US policy when about 85% of the coalition trops are US. (I'd say that makes the coalition 85% domestic, and 15% international)" ME: "And yet, many of those other countries have paid a price with the lives of many of their soldiers. How insulting not to consider them part of our coalition." Just to let you know Admiral, I'm actually sticking up for your people who are spoiling their blood and putting their lives in harm's way for this cause. And yes, isn't CrotchScratch silly? Aren't all libs? I've said it before, I'll say it again. Meaning > Yanks won the war in a year or less?
May 19, 2004 4:43 PM
|
It does not need "back-up" to say that the Yanks either did or did not win the war in Iraq. Hayek has no problem with you believing that they did win in a year or less. Hayek says they failed to do so. What is there to discuss? "Gratitude is a sickness suffered by dogs". Josef Stalin (1879-1953)
