Why don't we let parents decide

The biggest problem facing our schools is that the NEA imposes its version of education on children. It's time for everyone to realize that parents and communities OWN the schools and teachers are employees. The best way to solve this problem once and for all is to give vouchers for private education and let parents pick which schools will educate their children in the manner they deem best. Separation of children from their parents is one of the first steps of a totalitarian state.
