I need an interesting topic to do a research paper on for my History class. It can be from the years 1877-present. I am not much of a History person, so I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

First what grade are you in and how long do the paper have to be? Anywho, one topic that came to mind as I read this listing was "revolutionary weapons of World War II". Weapons that were introduced during WWII and how they changed to the outcome of the war.

I am a freshman in college. It has to be 2-5 pages. Thank you so much for the idea, it was great.

As you have hopefully realized, Leo and Jesus just wouldn't work that well in your time frame. When was James Cook's landing at Hawaii? That's pretty interesting when you look at the way the natives treated him. Not sure about the times, but it is certainly more recent than Leonardo da Vinci.
