I was wondering if this was a series. I thought it was really interesting and I hope to see more. The small segment in it where he is at the location of the Lee Harvey Oswald assassination made me wonder if I missed some episodes.

This show was intriguing. I can't wait to see what the next show will be about. John Holland is an extraordinary person. He is not a "nutjob". He has a gift and I hope that he continues using it to educate us in the unknown.

I hope the History Channel takes John to other places around the world where there are still questions in ancient history, I thought this episode was riveting, and the whole family, even skeptics HAD to watch! Bravo - give us more

This guy is a fraud.
That was why they went to Waco first.
Not the house, if they would have gone to the house first
he would not have had a clue. But instead, they go to Waco first, hmm plane lands in texas, we are driving to waco, hmm. I wonder why i'm here...

Every thing this guy said and did about his Waco trip is easily found online or in news clips. Or even if you watched the news live when it happend.

What a waste of programing time.

jonesfowler is so right. I haven't seen the other episodes but Waco episode is the dumpest one. All of the events have been discussed so much, there were so many documentaries (including several by THC) that even I answered all the questions that were asked by the voice-over speaker.

Was there an inside informer, yes. Was there deaths related to bus? Yes. Was Koresh the last to die? Forensic evidence suggests that Schneider killed Koresh first and then killed himself.

Shame on you History Channel to assume that all of your viewers were dump.

This show is horrible. I love the History Channel, but this garbage has NO business on HC (or anywhere else as far as I'm concerned).

More shoddy programming like this, and I'll find myself watching Discovery Channel or Animal Planet.

This guy (and all psychic's) are total frauds. Get him to win James Randi's $1M, and I'll pay attention. Till then, I'll lament the horrid direction that the HC seems to be heading in, and turn the channel.

Shame on you for helping to spread this type of nonsense.

short comment:
When I watch the History ChannelI expect to see History not flummery such as this!
To think your channel actually payed out good money
to have this performer spew nonsense and guesswork.
And to top it off with such insulting tag-lines as "Now we will know who fired the first shots, Branch Davidians or Federal Agents."
As if this guy is going to know? based on "emanations" ?
Let's not waste people's valuable time and effort on such programs as this in the future.

Where are all the messages on this thread? Is it my browser, is it a bug in the forum, or the posts are deleted by THC? I can only see DLC2007's message and nothing else (although I know there were several complaints and some supporting messages).

I cannot believe this garbage is on the Hitler Channel, I mean History Channel. And, it is listed as a documentary. It should be listed as a hoax, or only played on April Fools Day. History should be about facts, not wild guesswork.

I agree with the James Randi comment. They should let Randi or Penn Gillette do running commentary, so they can expose how the people are being so obviously duped.

JREF's June 3, 2005, newsletter states: "And, strangely enough, I don't find that "psychic" John Holland has ever applied for the JREF million-dollar prize!"

"Does that make sense?" What a drip.

How many people knew that in 2007 that Senator Barack Obama would become by 2008, the next president of the U.S.?

That should answer your question on the validity of Psychic abilities.

To put it bluntly, I knew 2 years ago that Senator Obama would become president.

Now to discuss Waco and the Branch Davidian compound, even when there was plenty of footage on the news about all that was occurring at the compound there were plenty of apologists for David Koresh, anti-Clinton conspiratologists trying to debunk live action footage as it was taking place. I guess it would take a psychic to debunk the apologists and conspiracy theorists. And by the way, some one who spells "dump" = dumb can't be very smart. Sorry dude.

It would be neat to find out if there is any scientific proof that psychic can predict the futures or if dreams can? There are many people who claim they can see the future in dreams in history.Very few could interpret them.I love this show.

It would be neat. I agree. It would be amazing. It just has never happened. There has been no conclusive scientific eveidence that psychics do what they claim to do, as far as I can remember. See the above link to the James Randi Educational Foundation (Randi has the invitation to psychics to scientifically prove their validity, unfulfilled after 40 years) or read Michael Shermer's "How We Believe." In the latter, he gives a great review of psychic medium James Van Praagh and how he really knows what he knows. (hint: it's a lot less impressive than communing with the dead)

That's not to say there aren't still mysteries and perhaps one day psychic abilities will be proven, but it hasn't happened yet. An open mind is a great thing, but sometimes it is neither prudent nor healthy to keep it open all of the way.
