afraid of skyscrapers after building 7 collapse

To this day no one can prove how building #7 in the WTC complex collapsed at 5:20 on the late afternoon of 9/11.
Before going up in a skyscraper shouldn't the public have a resonable assurance that the building isn't going to collapse?

It'd be nice to know if any other skyscrapers are laced with thermite so they can be "pulled" like WTC Seven was.
