New Episodes???

Aug 2, 2007 3:17 PM
I've enjoyed watching the Naked Archaeologist for the past several months. However, the History Channel keeps repeating the same episodes over and over. I checked their list of upcoming shows, and I've seen them all!

Does anyone out there know if Simcha will be doing new episodes? Thanks!

That has been my thought thought for a very long time. Also, the same Wednesday night episodes are repeated on Sunday. Sometimes I watch.
This is probably my most favorite show, but PLEASE! We need new episodes! :-x

It is now the summer of '09 and still no new episodes of the show! I am really missing the knowledge and humor of Simcha.

I wrote Nicole Austin, the contact for his show. He is currently filming season 3. Also, why in the world won't they play the "JC Bunch" episode again? I've seen the "Royal Blue" episode 100 times.

Hello,
to whom this concerns,
I think it would be good to have a show,
based on Poetry & Poets, past and present.
There are alot of good poets from the past,
but there are great poets living now.
Like at this web site
originalpoetry.com
Also please let me know,
where I can post this idea to get
positive feedback the most.
Thank you for your time.

There are alot of schools cutting poetry classes because they can no longer afford it.
Is there any way that we the poets of the modern age, and the history channel can help.
I believe we together can come up with something.

Poets at this site can be willing to contirbute..

POETRY, past and present, is of great interest to me, and it seems a neglected subject ... a friend of mine wrote a poem about how he went to Walt Whitman High School, but really the poet wasn't discussed at length in school, and his old home is a shopping mall? Historical access to non-American poets (particularly the Brits, whom I love, Shelley et. al.) is fairly common ... but more information on our American poetic heritage would be valuable.

I would love to see new and interesting features about poets in this great country of ours. There has been a United States Poet Laureate or Poet Laureate Consultant since 1937. I think it would be an incredible series should the History Channel choose to do a series on American poets.
Poetry seems to be a dying art even though there are numerous poets on originalpoetry.com who write with their hearts and souls.

Please consider doing a series on current and past poets of the USA.

As a 21st Century poet, and a member of Originalpoetry.com, I would like to add my voice to the ones calling for a show on the poetic traditions of America past and present.

Poetry has always been many things to Society: a conscience, a lover, a keen observer, a comedian, a source of tough love... America's poets have been bold and inovative thought our history, from Longfellow to Poe to Jim Morrison or Woody Guthrie..Bob dylan back to Whitman...

there are many new things happening in poetry, and many old traditions still alive and healthy. Let's expose it to the public. We've got the talent if you have the airtime!

I would like to join the chorus of those calling for a show on poets past and present. The masters of yester year are well known and the poets of today are far more numerous than one would imagine.

An episode on current American Poets, who are linked to the influences of our great poets of the past would be very intriguing. You could address the interchange of philosophies, family heritage, local living, and spiritual impact. Also, take a look at where poetry is headed in the historical context: is it a dying or reviving art form?
