I think beauce of the ESTIMATED loss of life from 1/4 million to 1 million US soldiers it was a good stratigic choise for Truman to bomb the Japanese cities.

I think they should have invaded Japan. You can't say that there weren't innocent women or children being killed from those dreadful things.

Collateral damage- think of Pearl Harbor, the Japanese didn't think twice about bombing us.

Think about women and children, or if you were in Nagasaki at the time. Don't you think you should think twice before just referring to the 250,000 innocent lives as mere collateral damage?

All the American lives that were saved by bombing-the war may have gone for a lot longer if the US invaded Imperial Japan.

Think about all the things that Japan did to us during the war-Have you ever seen "Wake Island- Alamo of the Pacific, the Japanese commander ordered the killing of over 90 American civilians!
