Goverment trying to dictate the media.

okay, i have been watching the news and i understand that our so called president OBAMA is our first african american president but when he trying to pass a bill to take off FOX network it really ticks me off. i mean i have NO say in it what so ever but there are some decent shows on there including the GLEN BECK news. i mean he maybe nuts and hated by the government but he is right that when he has a phone line directly to the white house and he clearly says that if he is wrong call him and prove to him that he is wrong but they don't. ........................................ OBAMA has gone a little to far and is now making BUSH look good. i think that there is an issue going on here, -- what do you think?????

Well the Fox news network is the Fox news network. I would hesitate to call them a legit new outlet. That said, the media isn't un-biased as they should be on various fronts. Making Bush look good...I don't think so. IMO, Bush (the most recent one) was the worse president sine 1900. He has mental problems and & I believe in the coming years, we will all know about them. The gov't & the media are in a constant struggle to win over the public. That's not the way it should be, but that's life

You do realize that even FOX admits that they only have 9 hours of news each day? They don't even classify Glen Beck, Shaun Hannity, FOX and friends, and other programs like them as news. Normal FOX news is not that bad, but seriously, the network admits its not news, they are just crazy people. And really? Glen Beck makes sense? You should actually listen to him next time. -- ▲ ▲ ▲ Triforce...words cannot describe the awesomeness.

but still the government has gone a bit to far, i mean i know no all news shows are all truthful but still i agree with some of the news casts. the government has caused another depression and is blaming the people for it. i heard that our president is trying to get a bill passed to get rid of our first amendment and the second. he will cause another war in our home country and it is not going to be just the north and south this time it will be between the people and the government. i am sorry to the people who are with OBAMA but i was with him but now i se who he really is. -- what do you think?????

It was Bush that started it, but it was Obama that really got our debt going. I don't think giving money to all these rich people just so they can go on corporate retreats or give big, fat bonus checks is a good idea. I think they should give bailouts to us, the working class. That way we have money to pay taxes, and as a result, the rich still benefit. So it's kind of a win-win situation if the government gives the working class a bail-out. Or better yet, they should start spending it on stuff we need instead of these spoiled rotten bankers. I don't think they should be spending money on producing the H1N1 vaccine, either; at least they shouldn't until proper testing is done. In my opinion, the vaccine is undertested. It takes years to develop a good vaccine, and they developed the H1N1 vaccine in just a few months. They didn't even bother to test it, either; the millions of people that have gotten the vaccine ARE the test subjects! -- History repeats itself.

I like how the mods deleted my post. Must be republicans. I'm going to keep posting it, so you might as well leave it here. " I think that George W. Bush was trying to push the country into another great depression. " What's wrong with that post? -- "Research will reward us with discovery." -Tcsjrbigfoot

George Bush pushing us into a depression? better check your resources. He only spent a little over 1 Trillion in all his years in office. Obama has already spent over 3.84 Trillion in his first 100 days in office. That means American taxpayers over the age of 18 right now owe over $400,000 dollars in taxes alone right now to pay in the next 20 years. CNN has even talked about that figure.

Jeez, that's OUR money going into the rich people's pockets! Just because Obama got us into debt by giving these ridiculously expensive bailouts to bankers. Bankers aren't going to save our country! Only the bankers benefit from this deal, the taxpayers (that's US) have to pay for them to go on corporate retreats or receive huge amounts of money! And many reports have said the recession is over. Ha! It's far from over! Unemployment rates are up because people need money just so they can pay for bankers' multi-million dollar houses. And I don't get why they need a house that big, either. I'm fine with my little dinky house! If those bankers live alone, I don't understand why they have to live in these humongous mansions instead of just a small house. A small house can support one person! -- Yes, I understand Pharaoh Ramses II is historically accurate. But seriously, which sounds better, King or Pharaoh?

I was watching Glen Beck, and a "militia" of sorts, saluted the flag and said a pledge to our current president. This disturbed me greatly. -- The Unknown is out there. It takes someone with an open mind to go and make it known.
