Destination Truth

Mar 8, 2008 7:43 AM
Has anyone heard of the TV series on the Sci-fi channel called Destination Truth? It's a pretty good show. It's kind of like Monster Quest in that it has a team of investigators led by Josh Gates who travel the world looking for unknown animals. Anyone heard of it or watches it?

yes watched it last year and watching it this year, it was a little frustrating last year though. Josh Gates was good but some of the team members didn't seem to be able to plan well. They ran out of gas a few times , forgot things they needed , didn't check with the weather service etc. And they too got close to finding something several times and either got scared and backed off or ran out of time for their expedition and left.

Hmm, I guess so. Still, on some occasions, they came up with evidence, but not a lot of times. Most of the time, Josh was skeptical. Josh is good though. He knows what he's talking about and does a great job at comic relief.

This season's premiere epeisode aired last Wednesday. It was on me, the Yeti.:) Did you see it?

Yep I like the look on his face while staring at the print. It was like no way we actually found evidence:O

No but my brother saw it and told me about it. To be honest I forgot it was on.
Have you seen Regis and Kelly lately they have a Yeti trivia and a guy dressed up in a Yeti costume when they do their trivia question.

I just watched it today. It was pretty compelling. They gathered a couple of my prominant footprints which stood up to Jeff Meldrum's scrutiny and they filmed something walking through the brush with their FLIR thermal imager. I hope I didn't scare anybody. I also hope they get a sample of my great, great, great uncle's scalp so they can prove we exist and help protect us.:O

No, I didn't. Maybe I should've been there to provide a more compelling impact on those watching it.?:|

Unfortunately that scalp has already been tested and has been proven to be a goat
