Environmental Tech II DVD

I really wish that when you are watching these amazing shows they would do a better job a giving the names of the products or companies. I know they say the name atleast once, but they never say where to look at or buy. If anybody has any idea where I can find in depth info on the shown products please do.

This is definitely my favorite show, and I know they don't wan't to be a marketing stooge for various products, but I also would like to find out about a product-the automatic food composter. Please let me know if anyone learns the manufacturer. Thanks.

Did anybody catch the name of the wind turbine manufacturer? I'm interested in the unit they showed on top of Jay Leno's car barn.

The website for the air compressed car is http://www.theaircar.com/ I too, was absolutely fascinated by all the companies attempting to make a difference in the ecology of our world. It certainly gives hope for the future.

I am very interested in the company that helped the power plant address their CO2 emissions with the use of algae. Could someone help me in finding out more information. Thanks.

I too, really enjoyed this program, even though I didn't see it until yesterday, 3/10/09 in the afternoon. My main thought was about the 'funnel' power generator. I think they missed some opportunities; 1. They covered the funnel portion of the device with a clear covering... some of that cover should be black, it will absorb more heat. 2. Around the outside of the funnel area they could add intake fans (not in every opening) to use the cooler air coming in to replace the warm air going up the chimney

does anyone remember the name of the company that creates the ice box air conditioner unit. This was the technology that froze ice at night on the roof of the Azusa Library - then ran the air conditioning coolant through the line during peak daytime usage. ?

I'm not sure it was the one profiled in the show, but Ice Energy makes a unit like the one used by the Azuza City Library: Ice Bear You could probably also call the library to find out the brand name. The solar tower is Solucar, a subsidiary of Abengoa. Here's a link to their solar power site: Abengoa Solar
