If you like mail call, I know you will love Shootout! It makes you feel like you are in the middle of a real shootout. Most of their stories so far have featured Marines. Why doesn't the history channel advertise this show more? It is the most exciting show on the history channel, actually on all of TV!

I agree with u on everything u said, the only times shootout is advertised is almost right before it starts, its sad to know some people are missing out on the best show to air on the history channel so far. (by the way, i have seen every episode so far)

I only missed part of one. The only show I like better is "Over There" on FX. The season finale was last night.

I'm 26 years old and I've always found any programming or movie about any US armed force to be very intersting. I'm a big fan of Lee Ermey's and I couldn't imagine any other person that I'd want to hear host this show! I didn't even know that this show existed until I injured my knee and was imprisoned to my couch. Please do not plan to take this show off the air anytime soon, I just caught on! The way that this show is presented is very entertaining. It's awesome.

I hope to god they don't take it off the air. I think it's one of the highest rated shows THC shows.

I agree, too, Semper.
Both shows are spectacular, especially the edge-of-your-seat moments in Shootout!
Kudos to the H channel for running programs like these, because if they didn't, we'd have to watch bike building, home redecorating, or some other crappy "reality-based" junk.
You all remember that show American Shooter that used to be on TNN (now Spike TV)? I think they got picked up by the Outdoors Network (which ain't available in 'Jersey).

It's semper fi first of all. I haven't heard of American Shooter, but we have a channel here in Dallas called OLN. I'm not sure what it stands for, but it's basically an outdoors channel. Hunting and fishing, things of that nature.

What would you do?
Sugar and spice and everything nice. This is suppose to every little girls life. What happens when life is not like that? What if your life is filled with constant abuse by the people who suppose to protect you? For little Katelynn of Indiana, her life is filled with this from a father, stepmother and father's family; everyone but her the relatives that love her have been deined the ability to see her. What happens when the police will not stop this? Than try Child Protection Service, but they will not stop this either. The next thing to do is go to the court. What would you do if the Child Protection Services and the court helped the abusers hurt her? The media might work but they ignore majority of average people. In this search for help, several politicians ignored or said stop bothering them. If these people will not help little katelynn than who will? Will this little girl have to pay the ultimate price for these adults mistakes?

They are very good shows. But I can't seem to find them on anymore. I wonder if they (History Channel)cancelled them. They are my favorite shows.

Shootout is over as far as I know, but Mail Call usually comes on every friday at 7 central.

Shootout is pretty bad IMO. If there was a history channel kids version, thats where shootout should end up.
