I loved the last 2 seasons of IRT. However, the first episode of this season was boring. I had a hard time keeping up with the story line. Seriously, you mean Hugh and Alex just barely passed the American driving test? These guys have driven trucks on ice - I personally find that hard to swallow. The camera shots of the drive wheels on the trucks are cool, but I found it hard to determine what was going on even though the announcer stated that Jack's truck was rolling backwards. Would I drive a truck up there? No way. I have the utmost respect for these guys but I don't care much for this season of IRT so far. Hope it gets better.

That was to be expected ... They are doing the same thing to you they did here in Yellowknife

Not me...this show is awesome. The guys "interacting" with each other is great and they each have TERRIFIC camera personalities! I LOVE brute force!!

You must be one of those people that don't have a clue of what it's like to drive a truck let alone on ice . most of us have every day challenges on a paved road . one thing those ice road drivers don't have to deal with is people in there little yuppy Hi Bread cars slamming on the brakes in front of them . so no I don't think it's a boring show , it's trucking with out cars in the way. Cool show.

well i hope somebody got to see my answer to this post before they deleted it last night, i thought it was pretty good and also pretty funny
but for you bored geniuses, go back and watch the Nanny or the Deadliest Scallops or something that entertains you

I got to see it Mack- and my reply was also deleted- it's not so much the "bored" geniuses- BUT THE "BOARD" GENIUSES that are too quick to delete.
P.S. I at least agree with you on the CRAP fisher show.- but do note he is the SAME producer as IRT and AX MEN.

Well, IMO, Season 3 is a little less interesting than the first two, probably due to the absence of Stupid Rick and whiner Drew.
But, I did love Hugh getting shoved into the passenger seat, and he and Alex's interaction. I think its getting better. Go Ice Road Truckers!!

I think this is one of the best shows on TV. It is fresh, different, and entertaining. I have always found that if I didn't like a show or found it BORING,. I didn't watch it.

kid your having a pipe dream ,being a driver is not fun it's hard work hurry up and wait get hassled by the law , and sit in the seat up to 120+ hours a week almost killing yourself delivering junk . Do yourself a favor go to school get a degree and make a hundred grand a year doing nothing you will thank me in 15 years .

dont listen to no-brainer , first off you wont be spending 120 hours a week in the drivers seat more like 60- 80 in most driving jobs and it is fun and adventerous if you are a natural driver . I spent the better part o ffifteen years on the road and now I put in 70 hours a week in my office chair and i don't regret trucking one little bit , it's a respectable job with rewards and I if you have ambition to drive then take it up . No brainers attitude of getting a degree and a job that you do nothing at and make big bucks is what put our economy in the tank ...... no -brainer is a good handle for him for sure

I t all depends on who you work for and what your hauling ,anymore there are no real truck drivers left . Besides if driving was still such a great thing then people would be jumping in trucks by the thousands ,right now all you see is ads in the paper by the hundreds begging for drivers .It's so bad we are having to import drivers from mexico .You can bad mouth all you want but convicts have it better than truck drivers do ,companys will crap on a person so fast it's not even funny .
