Who else thinks this show is boring?

Boring, thick-headed, repetitive til you want to scream, uninteresting characters, irrelevant to world history except as a lesson in "what not to do" using brute force to counter environmental problems.
However, cheap to produce, simple to film and easy to write for. A perfect throw-away frame for the History Channel's endless commercials.
Same goes for "Tougher in Alaska."
Boring! Endlessly, monotonously and redundantly boring.

Some people are quick to judge and be critical but would you try this ??? Probably not.

I have been watching the show all day!! Great show!!! If it's so boring, why watch? This show is not boring at all!!!!

It's not so much boring as it shows the monotonous and lazy life of a trucker. Granted, these truckers may be the hardest working truckers there are, but still you can see how much they hate physical activity of any sort. I am very glad to see that in season three that Rick is gone...what a complainer! Is he so stupid that he forgets he is on camera??? If someone on my crew complained that much or broke as much capital equipment as this guy, s/he would have been long gone. I enjoy the show because it accurately portrays the workforce that exists out in the world today--pathetic for the most part.

I personally love the show I have been catching up with all the episodes over the weekend and can't wait for the third season premiere.
I agree for those who don't like it change the channel.

It is truly amazing that with all the discordant "strains" of human history weaving together in a manner foreboding, perhaps, an imminent, grand finale - - - this is all the HISTORY CHANNEL chooses to offer.
No wonder they're teaching us all about what extinction will be like.

I kind of agree but being a truck driver I do find it interesting. I have to say that "The Deadliest Catch" has this show beat all to heck. That show rocks AND NO HUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well mark i can honestly say i dont care if you are entertained or not turn the channel or take a ride up with one of us and talk later. Gracie chances are that you have less activity in your life then i do i work for carlile and lazy truckers is rather offending to say the least. my job may not require a great deal of physical activity but i do promise that what it does require you could not perform. i may not like the show because i know firsthand how much has been changed and what the history channel got wronge but i love my job and that road. so unless your opinion is based in reality and not on a tv show keep it to yourself.

Boring? No way! I think it's fascinating. I don't think these guys are lazy, looks to me like they work pretty hard, and in extremely cold weather. I think they're a little nuts, and I give them a lot of credit. I wouldn't dream of doing what they do. You people who think it's boring should turn the channel to Survivor. There's some boredom for you!

J unless you have spent hours on end in a truck seat then you won't ever get it ,driving is boring after a while just like any other job .And yes driving for a living does tend to make one some what lazy ,and yes to a person that has driven for a living this is boring .I watch the show just to see who s crews up and to see how the HC over hypes everything .
