I like the fact that he is a faith man. Keeps in touch with the Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ, although I haven't hurd him acknowledge the Holy Spirit.

I had the pleasure of meeting Alex at the Dallas TX Truck Show. He was very friendly and outgoing. He is an extremely nice gentleman. He had stood all day meeting and greeting a long line of people and met each one like they were old friends. Ice Roads is very lucky to have a man of this caliber. Truck drivers (as my husband is) is also lucky to finally have somone front and center showing that the majority of truck drivers are intelligent, hard working, honest family men and women. Not as the media likes to show.

I'm glad you got to meet him and do enjoy his participation in the show very much.
Did he speak and discuss some of the fact vs. fiction that seems to be debated among the posters here? Did he mention his health problems from last year?

Alex is my favorite on the show. He has class, good driving skills, a great hearty laugh, and seems like a level headed man (with religion thrown in)...I love the fact that he is not cocky and full of himself!
