Okay, I just want to know once and for all, just to make sure, no one actually thinks that there wasn't a kennedy conspiracy right?

tomwood, you must be joking, obviously unless magic exists, then there is no such thing as a magic bullet

Apparently for the rest of us Preemptive attack is actually called felonious assault

Rt up the "conspiracy theory" nut alley check out this web site http://www.geocities.com/rolandevasco/id13.html should give you more ammunition. Didn't take a "magic" bullet. It took three quite ordinary rounds fired by a reasonably good shot in a reasonable amount of time, by one insane Lee Harvey Oswald. Firing one round then 2 more in 6 seconds accurately at the range these were fired from Depository building with a scope sighted, bolt action rifle is not only possible but actually quite easy. Can and have done better myself. And as a long time hunter I can assure you that I have known of bullets to take much stranger paths than what you refer to as the "Magic Bullet"..

When fireing shots in quick succession it is a fact that the first shot will be the most accurate. Oswald missed on his first shot and then scored a head shot on the last. I'd say if it was Oswald he was a terrible shot and was lucky. He was also a self proclaimed patsy. Just an observation.

Hi,
Well, no one who counts.
Am watching the History Ch repeat w/Peter Jennings.

Why do so many people believe the autopsy report saying there were only 3 bullets to account for?
Plus, the bullets don't blow your head out on the entrance side. Especially not when one is moving forward in a car.

I truly think that J. Edgar Hoover and Richard Nixon agreed to go ahead and take Kennedy out. Isn't that always one of the Big Questions? Who hated JFK and could benefit from his death? I think Nixon became more and more paranoid as President, knowing that HE, himself, had conspired to kill off a political enemy.

I think Hoover used to keep all kinds of small-time lowlifes around the country, luring them into doing this, listening for that, pretending to be some character, being the type that when people ever heard them say some wierd story, they would be written off as a 'kook". Like, Oswald, Ruby, that character with the fake eyebrows...Who knows, maybe one a plan was in place (or with J. Edgar, 3 plans) they put the poor patsy on a brainwashing schedule.

So, then why? Hoover hated JFK and his brother. Hoover was being cut out of the power loop by Jack & Bobby and the other Harvard intellectuals that came in. Once JFK was gone, plus I think Hoover and Nixon thought they could get the country to blame Texas& LB Johnson. Take out Johnson with the same stone, I bet they agreed that Hoover had had the luck of the brilliant.

So, voila. Who was back in power in 5 years? Yep. They may have been hoping for the '64 elections, but saw that wasn't happening. The citizens of the US did not turn against the state of Texas or blame Johnson.

Course, they had to go ahead and take out Bobby. I figure Nixon and Hoover hated him anyway. And Hoover probably had some lackey he could put into motion.

And, they must have put the fear of the lord into Lyndon Johnson, to pull out of everything and not look back. Whoa!

The other thing I like about this theory is that Hoover had the power to have all these random people be involved in the set-up. So no one really knew the whole picture. Except the leaders.

Thanks and Bye.
BW.

A lot of Dealey Plaza witnesses including John Connelly, who was in fact sitting right in front of JFK, said there were two almost simultaneous shots. Two almost simultaneous shots would have been impossible for ANYONE to make. Most magic bullet proponents ignore this assertion... And the statments by Parkland Hospital doctors that there were frontal entrance wounds ...and Kennedy himself clutching at the front of his throat like he had been hit in the front....and the assertion by witnesses at Parkland Hospital that they saw a bullet hole in the front windshield of the Lincoln Continental...and other assertions that there was a hole in the front of Kennedy's skull above his right eye. Neurological explanations for Kennedy's backward motion seem to ignore the fact that Kennedy's brain was destroyed so much that any kind of neurological/muscular function was impossible. Why Didn't Oswald take a shot when Kennedy was only 60 feet away (at the foot of the School Book Depository) instead of waiting until he was 200 feet away ???? Wouldn't a closer shot have been easier ?? Even when I was only 10 years old in 1963 I was asking this question. Conspiracy nuts. There are hundreds of conspiracies taking place everywhere everyday and for anyone to trivialize theorists by saying they are conspiracy nuts while simultaneously brown nosing by accepting government explanations belies a steppin fetch it capitulation. Obviously the founding fathers were not so much into capitulation. The execution of Oswald two days later live on national tv sent a chilling message to anyone thinkling of stepping forward. People who bolster Warren Commission theories may be afraid of the alternatives and actually sublimate their fear-based actions by consistently ignoring eyewitness statements.
When Oliver Stone came out with his movie all he did was assemble pre-existing theories together---some of which were 25 years old---but the media made it sound like he alone made it all up---which belied their ignorance of the previous 25 years. Basing his movie on Garrison may have been a mistake. Some people theorize that Garrison didn't put emphasis on the mob because he was afraid of antagonizing local New Orleans mob figures.
Apparently Bobby Kennedy himself was involved with assassination attempts targeting Castro and he didn't want this coming out (in addition to his brother's womanizing) so RFK himself capitulated overtly to the Warren Commission cover up. Evelyn Lincoln has said that JFK and RFK were blackmailed into putting LBJ on the ticket for VP by J Edgar Hoover. Hoover and LBJ were tighter than JFK and Hoover and certainly RFK and Hoover. Obviously these alliances (ie conspiracies) were played out in various ways over the years. Hoover was probably blackmailing LBJ. Was the CIA blackmailing Hoover ?? Was Warren bought off by the mob when he made gambling illegal in California in 1941 when he was attorney general there ?? Would Hoover have known about this with his mob contacts ?? if it did happen ??
There are so many cover ups going on in politics that iit is impossible to know what the truth is. Obviously and blatantly 11-22-63 is the only example of this.
