Shouldn't there also be other forums of other nations besides Mexico? What makes it so special or so miserably picked on?

IMO there are a couple of good reasons why Mexico is included in this forum. First, the United States is the 5th largest Spanish speaking country in the world by population, and the majority of those Spanish speaking people came to the U.S. from Mexico. So, it seems a logical extension for the History Channel to include a forum on things related to Mexico. 2nd, Mexico was one of the first regions of continental America to be occupied by Europeans and therefore it has one of the longest European histories of continental America, hence it's inclusion in a forum related to history. 3rd, the Aztecs, Toltecs, Olmecs, etc. There is some very interesting archaeological 'stuff' uncovered in Mexico. Did you know that the earliest beginnings of civilization in Mexico can be traced as far back as 1200 BC? The Aztec, Mayan and Inca civilizations of the America's (collectively known as Mesoamerica) are the closest thing we in the New World have to the Old World's Egypt, Sumer, Assyria, Judea, etc. The Aztecs, Maya, and Inca's are the granddaddies of civilization in the New World, and as a person born and raised in the New World, I think the cultural heritage left behind by our Mesoamerican predecessors is something all people of North, Central and South America can be proud of (and should be interested in.) Just my thoughts.
