There are 3 ways of understanding the bible. 1.Primary Interpretation-To read the stories, Moses, Abaraham, garden of Eden, Jesus etc... Most stop after the first one, thinking they got it and understand. Those are the milk drinkers. Only few will move on to # 2. 2.Practical Application-To learn about life, morals, family, work, acceptable and unacceptable ways that please God and moral man etc. I say moral not because some men are perfect, but because immoral men do not like these teachings and won't listen to instruction. Once you have been trained up in the ways of God by recieving the teachings, the washing of the Practical Applications of the Word, you will be well on your way to graduate to be able to partake of the hidden manna. But do understand, that God knows your heart and He decides when you are ready. 3.Prophetic Implications- Types and Shadows with underlying meanings for those with eyes to see and ears to hear. Oh! the mysteries of God and let us not forget His benefits. -- Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.KJV

You people joke about hillbilly preachers, but let me remind you that God does not look for the proud college educated by man to work for Him. He picks a Moses who can't speak well, or a little sheep hearder like David, or an outcast family member like Joseph or the unlearned like Peter and John, so that God can raise them up without having to redo all of the ignorant knowledge that they learned from other men. Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.KJV -- Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Well speak no more............I know exactly where you stopped from your words of, no wisdom but ridcule and blashemy towards God's Word. I have nothing against God's Word, it's YOU I am ridiculing. Your insistence on posting out of context and incomplete scriptures on this forum and claiming that you are the only one who understands them, then playing the victim card when anyone has the nerve to disagree with you, places you in the same league as heretics like Mark Dreher and Awoon. You people joke about hillbilly preachers, but let me remind you that God does not look for the proud college educated by man to work for Him. You don't need to be college educated but you do need to be learned. Some of the best theological minds on this forum are lay people, but you are not a lay minister because you think you are too good for church and you are not learned because you are to proud to accept instruction. May God have mercy on you for your arrogance and pride, and for whoever you have led astray with your false teachings. I will denounce you the same way I denounce all false teachers. Say what you want about me, but I am always prepared to offer a defense for what I say. -- “Get your facts straight first, then you can distort them as you please.” - Mark Twain

In were did you find fault in my 3 ways of reading the Bible? Also may I ask do you do this since it did not just stop with the apostles, it was our example to follow: Acts 4:34-37 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. 36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, 37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet.KJV -- Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

A little sarcasim is one thing, but unclean language out a supposed believer should not be. Correction should be done using prophetic words of wisdom, not stooping to the name calling expected of heathens who know no better. If you do what they do, then you become what they are. There is no differences.

Seriously though, I do keep forgetting this one scripture when posting on this slowww forum: Matt 7:6 6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. KJV -- Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
