And the crap just keeps on coming !!! Non-"History" Season 3 of NICE ROAD CRAPPERS ends Today with an all day Crapathon.
And is quickly followed by the premier of another non-"History" piece of crap Series(?)- MOTORHEADS- now I don't know anything about this program- haven't seen any promos and my guide has no description yet.
But let me say, that just from the title, it's going to be another non-"History" piece of crap that shouldn't be on a channel that continues to have the gall to call itself HISTORY.
And before all the first time/one time friends and family of the cast and crew Posters, come on here with their old crap- "If you don't like the show- don't watch it", "Change the channel", "It's 'History" because........"- All I can say is- "I don't watch the crappy show, I don't watch any non-"History" piece of crap on a channel called HISTORY".
"I changed the channel a long time ago and I hope everybody follows your advice and the channel fails because of rotten programming. And your crappy show is not "History".
Does anybody at this Channel have any idea what a "History" Series/Program is ??? Please change the name of the channel since you are no longer in the "History" business- do this to prevent unsuspecting viewers from tuning to your channel expecting to see "History".

This is the Description of the show as given by the channel that calls itself HISTORY. Sounds to me like it's just jam packed with "History" !!!
The "guise of History" here is the antique cars. But it's just another Soap Opera.
Does anybody at this channel know what "History" programming is ???

sounds like your underlying issue is greater than the history channel. why relyon the television to educate you on history. you can always go to the library and read all the histroy your little heart desires. really you sound like a grown man whining about television programming.

I switched to the Premiere of MOTORHEADS tonight. I lasted less than a minute. Way too much "History" for me !!!
I was just overwhelmed with "HISTORY" !!!!!!
Hopefully, the new six week Series that Premieres this Thursday- MARKED- about tattoos- will be less bogged down in boring "History".

eviltwin- I see this is your first Post- if you had taken the time to read some of the other Posts and Topics- you could have saved yourself some time in registering et all just to ask a question that has already been asked and answered numerous times.
Why should I have to leave the comfort of my Recliner and take hours to read some dusty old book- when there is a channel named HISTORY-where I should be able to watch and learn about "History" to my little hearts desire all from the comfort of my home sweet home ????????
Why is it such a hard concept to understand that people who love "History" want to tune to a channel called HISTORY and expect to see "History"- and not some scripted ,edited "fat guy working" Reality show ?
From this being a first time Post and it being on the Topic MOTORHEADS- I assume you liked the show and maybe this is the first time you have watched a channel called HISTORY ???

I watched this show (briefly), as typical with this type of show, more drama than anything. And the 54 F-100 is "restored"? I don't think so. Nothing more than a cheap respray and dressup. The firewall was still brown when it rolled out. And straighting up a frame with a floor jack and a piece of wood? One of the main "characters", Tako, likes to ride around all day in a 4 door International truck more than anything else and tries to act like a Paul Teutul Sr. by yelling and cursing everyone. (too many steriods)
The worst thing I have noticed is that there is someone posting on a lot of automotive forums trying to get people to watch this "show". It is always the same type of message. "A friend/buddy of mine is producing/is on this show on the History channel."
That is pretty pathetic to have to spam forums/message boards to try and get people to watch this.
I have the ultimate solution, I simply turned the channel. I won't waste anymore time with "Motorheads" , and I suggest that no one else should.

bushwacker- I've been saying for a long time now that the majority of the viewers and supporters for these crappy shows on HISTORY are friends or relatives of the cast, crew, Producer or have some other kind of personal interest in the show- thank you for verifying.

I'm sorry but what a waste of time this "Motorheads" is. Another loud mouth bald "genius" that designed a two-color paint scheme, a master mechanic that takes a day to start a motor (how about putting the coil wire back on and pour a little gas down the carb), a painter that can't apply primer and an "end of the world" time frame that apparently isn't that important when the two main guys can go race some stupid little machines, destroy a bunch of stuff, get hurt, have an operation and still get the truck re-painted on time. Come on, If any real company operated like this they would be history. We can only hope that is the reason this piece of schlock is on the "History" channel.

i have watched this show since it came out. i liked it then and i like it now. and i have no idea nor am i a relative of anybody on this show or any other show. i love history, its a good channel to me, besides the military channel these are the only two channels i watch. i just sit here and laugh thinking bout how a whiner is whining about something when he should just move on. maybe put the chips down and go out side and see history in the making instead of watching it on the tv.

This has to be the most inappropriate show yet for the channel they call HISTORY- it doesn't even bother to worry about giving the usual guise of "History".
Is this a Series or just that one show ?

I miss my old History Channel. You know, back in the good old days when they had history stuff on it.
I am guessing they got a new program manager who opted for "Reality Shows".
Maybe they ran out of history?
All that was left was muscle bond bully that can mistreat his employees and scream and cuss and in between all that they build hot rods. (Motorhead's TAKO is a very rude, fowl tempered and unlikable man who should not have his own show even if it was on the MTV channel )
Tonight on the "HISTORY CHANNEL" I get to watch...a show on tattoos, a show on car repair and a show on gangs. then I can watch it all over again.
