I watched this program last evening (10/15). Around an hour and 40 minutes in, the discussion was about the accustical evidence and the whereabouts of officer H.B. Mclain. The home movie of Robert Hughes was used to show the motorcade as it turned from Houston onto Elm. As Mr. Hughes filmed this, his camera showed a view of the 6th floor window of the school book depository. Though the 'freeze frame' was a little blurry I believe it shows someone at that window. Therefore it shows Oswald seconds before he fired.

NARFO- I didn't see that- I had always thought there were no shots of the 6th Floor- that they just went to the 5th Floor. I will have to keep an eye out for that. If there is a shot, you would think that they would be able to enhance it today.

The problem that I have with the Warren Commission, and with the interviews saying Oswald acted alone has to do with Oswald's activities prior to the shooting. Even if there wasn't a second shooter, Oswald is the perfect candidate for the Kennedy's enemies to use considering what he is. I feel that it is very possible that Oswald was allowed to execute whatever plan he had with the government having working knowledge of his actions. J. Edgar Hoover was extremely leery of Communists, and for an American to defect to Russia should not only raise red flags, but warrant close surveillance. On top of that he favored Fidel Castro, which several attempts were made to remove him. The CIA would have known prior to Kennedy's trip about people that live in an area that could be considered potential threats to the President. It is well known that standard operating procedure is for the Secret Service, and other agencies to study the route prior to a Presidential visit. The information the CIA and FBI had about Oswald would have caused for his whereabouts to be accounted for during Kennedy's visit. Therefore, I feel that the way our government allowed for Kennedy to be killed was by letting Oswald do it, and using his past as a way to justify he was the only one. The second was most likely there to make the kill shot if Oswald missed.

The reason they thought it was a conspiracy was because of the angle the bullets were fired. They think some bullets were fired from the book depository building and some from ground level. There may have been a second gunman who had the same idea as Oswald and neither gunman knew about the other. They laid in wait until the car Kennedy was in got close enough and all heck broke loose. The ground-level gunman was in a position to escape and blend in with the crowd. Oswald wasn't. So Oswald was considered the lone gunman.
