Cuba's "Special Period" "Período especial en tiempo de paz"

How about a documentary about the "Special Period" of Cuba? I think this would make a fascinating show. This was the period after the Soviet Union was dissolved, halting oil imports to Cuba. And while I'm on that topic, how about a Peak Oil documentary? Or is that too scary for the "Future Doom" channel?
