Discussion of Soviet Union

I am a graduate student in History, specializing in the Soviet Union 1905-1953. I am looking for people to discuss the fall of Tsar Nicholas, the rise of Lenin and Stalin as well as the reign of Stalin and Lenin.
My thesis topic is American public opinion of Stalin pre-and post-World War II. I intend to show how Stalin's public image and control of the Soviet media, as well as the notorious Soviet secrecy, contributed to a false perception of the leader.
If interested in any of these subjects, I would love to discuss them.
