Message Boards Announcement
Dear History members:

In February, 2010, History boards will begin the process of upgrading our community message board software. We are moving to a new community software, KickApps, that will provide greater functionality and ease of use. This transition will take place during the last part of February; the last day that the current boards will be available to you will be Feb. 28, 2010.

We realize that many of you have posted great content over the years and might want to save your posts. Please take this time to go back through the boards and save what you want to keep on your own computer. These boards will no longer be accessible after February 28, 2010.

If you would like to ask a question about the new boards, click here: http://boards.history.com/forum/Message-Boards-User/108

There will be more details to come as we roll out the new community software. Thank you for your continued patronage. We'll see you on the new, improved boards!

Socialist "Wholecaust" caused by French Revolution?

Jan 9, 2005 4:19 AM
Was the socialist wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part) inspired by the French Revolution? http://rexcurry.net/socialists.html

That question is raised by the History Channel's commercial promoting its show, stating "Stalin, Mao, and Castro would be no one without the French Revolution." Is the History Channel saying that the French Revolution was a disaster in that it led to the socialist wholecaust and the worst mass slaughter the world has ever known: 62 million killed by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; 35 million killed by the Peoples's Republic of China; 21 million killed by the National Socialist German Workers' Party. http://rexcurry.net/socialism.html

On Memorial Day, Everyone joins in remembering those who defended freedom and fought socialism. In WWII, the U.S. helped end a war that spread when Poland was invaded by Germany and the U.S.S.R. The invasion was a pact between the National Socialist German Workers' Party and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Socialists are nuclear bombs. Socialism is nuclear war.

It is scary how socialists even molded America. During WWII, the Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S. flag used a straight-arm salute that was the origin of the notorious salute of the National Socialist German Workers' Party.

A self-proclaimed National Socialist (Francis Bellamy) created the Pledge in the U.S. three decades before it inspired the Nazis. The salute changed because of WWII, but there are still government schools, and laws that make teachers lead children in robotic chants of the socialist's pledge daily, on cue.

After it split from the National Socialist German Workers Party, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics went on to kill even more people. The rest toll numbers cited above are from Professor R. J. Rummel's article in the Encyclopedia of Genocide. The origin of the word "Nazi" is often forgotten. An easy way to remember that Nazis were self-proclaimed socialists is that the swastika resembles two "S" letters overlapping and the Nazis often used stylized "S."

The discoveries mentioned above are from the work of the noted historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets").

Memorial Day is a reminder of the libertarian victory in the ongoing struggle against socialism.
