FCC Rules, Comcast, NFL, and FOX SPORTS - they blew another one

Today in my "market" the newspaper listed Giants Vs. New Orleans on FOX SPORTS (WPMT 43)
What we got was a MOVIE.
Cable points to the station -
The Station points to the newspaper
Nobody or enity will take responsiblity -
No wonder people turn off their TV's, rent games, movies or go drinking.
FCC rules says that if Baltimore is playing AWAY that they trump over the Steelers (FCC RULES) yet if by chance both teams play at differant times we still do not get BOTH teams

Yet somehow we manage to get ALL Phila Eagles games be they home or away - sounds like the "fix" is in.

Another sore point is the NFL.com - threatens to put ALL NFL games on that "channel" andCOMCAST wants it on it's PAY PER VIEW or PAY premium tier.

No wonder NASSCAR is the biggest sporting event or game in town - so far they still are veiwable on standard "cheap" cable or over the air "free" by ordinary folka.

This whole NFL "fix" by COMCAST is why peoplple feel that BIG is not for the good - but for the crupt, gredy, money grobing people who only want PROFITS not veiwerships.

are you a cable subscriber to Comcast? If so I didn't know it didn't carry local channels so you could also watch what was on normal "broadcast" TV! That stinks.

My cable company (Bresnan) carries all the local channels, ABC, NBC, and CBS and Fox is also broadcast by another town slightly outside of our Billings (MT) borders, but carried by Bresnan on my cable.

The NFL network is also carried on my basic digital cable lineup, so I wasn't aware this was a "problem" in other areas. I do tire of NFL network's constant redo of the week-end games, but I do enjoy being able to watch the playoff games that are only carried by the NFL Network, and any of the Thursday games they carry exclusively.

But they are part of my package from the get go, so I cannot judge.
