Don't know, but if there is here is what I would like to see. Battle of Britain: Hawker Hurrican and the No 303(Polish Squadron) Spitfire: No 74 squadron and Adolf "Sailor" Malan No 19 Squadron "Bader's Bus Company" Douglas Bader who despite losing both legs in '31 became one of the Best RAF pilots. He was shot down and became a POW in '41. David McCampbell & Roy Rushing Shooting down 15 enemies out of 40 (McCampbell 9, Rushing 6) Just a couple of the hundreds of stories that are worth seeing in CG

I'd also love to see the bomber gunners and their air victories. Everything from B-52 mig kills to world war I gunner engagements. We got somewhat of an idea of this is season one with the B-17 in the pacific theater. I also enjoyed the episodes on the Bismark and Taffy 3. While a bit of a stretch for "dogfights," I truly enjoyed this type of tactical recreation. I'd love to see more of these types of engagements! Oh, and don't forget the unbelievable air engagements such as the Battle of Britain and the Eastern Front. I'd personally would be very interested to see Soviet/Eastern block engagements. -- Edited by Dmod at 12/10/2007 11:16 AM

Also since someone mentions the Sea battles I would also like seeing the Battle of Midway, and the Mariana`s Turkey shoot. I really enjoyed the Sea Battles even though they weren't Dogfights, they were also a part of the battle.

The British defense of London in World War I against Zeppelin night raiders was pretty incredible. They had to fly over the airships and drop bombs on them in some cases. That show could also include the balloon aces such as Willy Coppins of Belgium and Frank Luke of the USA.

A season 3 would be nice but I know someone who works at the History Channel who told me that the decision to pull the show happened back in October (after one night of a ratings dip when the show moved to Thursday) All the shows you have seen were already in the works when the decision was made. there are only a few more episodes left.

THIS IS REALLY DISAPPOINTING! DOG FIGHTS IS A GREAT SHOW! DECISIVE BATTLES WAS ALSO GOOD... ANYTIME THEY USE COMPUTER GAME-LIKE GRAPHICS, ITS COOL. I AGREE, I CANT BELIEVE THEY NEVER HAD A BATTLE OF BRITAIN EPISODE... BOMBER GUNNERS IS ALSO A COOL IDEA! FIGURES, ALL GOOD THINGS ALWAYS GET TAKEN AWAY FOR CRAP... LIKE ICE TRUCKERS... ICE TRUCKERS IS LAME.

Well I want to see some of what you guys said and some more fighters from WWII. They never showed pilots in Germany or any pilots that ran away from Russia. I see all these same pilots and I want to see some new ones. and Yea Battle Of Briton sounds like a good Idea. I never saw the spitfire in action.

A viewer from the UK... Dogfights is probably one of the best TV docu-series I have seen in many many years and it would be a crying shame to NOT continue with it. You are on to a winner here chaps. So please please please continue with it and pls also ensure that people are made aware when it will be screened. Also, you need to include some UK dogfight "stuff". The fate of an entire country was decided over the skies of England in the summer of 1940 and to omit this from your hall of fame is a bit of a snub to our gallant chaps in the Royal Air Force. As Churchill said... "Never in field of human conflict has so much been owed by so manny to so few". Why they have not erected a statue to Hugh Dowding (CinC Fighter Command) and Keith Park (11 group) in Trafalgar square is beyond me.. Concentrate on "Eagle Day" which was make or break for the Luftwaffe in terms of destroying the RAF and signalling readiness for "Operation Sealion"...the invasion of the UK....the fate of nation hang in the balance. What other dogfights could boast that? Also, would like to see something on the Falklands conflict where Royal Navy Sea Harriers, despite potentially inferior aircraft (compared to supersonic Mirage's), achieved total air superiority despite all of the odds and were not as Murete Negre(Black Death) by the Argentines. ...who were in themselves a very courageous and gallent foe. Cheers Andrew

"How's this? If you guys down there in the sates show something besides american pilots...I won't turn your power off " Yeah! We should show all of those famous Canadian dogfights that have happened over the years!

Cadet, why don't you google "Billy Bishop" and see what turns up? (The Canadian Air Force didn't really become a separate entity until after WW2. Prior to this, they were part of the RAF.) Speaking of Canadian aces, I'd love to see a show on the "diver aces" of WW2. These guys flew Tempests and shot down German V-1 buzz bombs (which were actually what we would call a cruise missle). Except that they found out that the explosion from a V-1 could damage their aircraft. So, they would use their wing tips to "tip" the V-1 on it side over the countryside. I hate to mention this, but there may be a glimmer of hope for Dogfights....... Item 1 My hobby is scale RC aircraft. In an Academy of Model Aeronautics magazine this winter, they were covering a scale model event, and mentioned that a 'Dogfights' film crew was filming some 1/3 scale WW1 planes flying at the event. This was after the WW1 show from Season 2 was shown. Item 2 There is supposed to be a show similar to Dogfights on the Military Channel in June. THC has shown a dramatic habit of copying other shows. The fact that one of their own shows (Dogfights) has been copied may cause them to add another season. I must say that all this is likely wishful thinking on my part. But we can always hope.
