I hv been playing a game called Fighter Ace on line. its 14.95 a month but its the best game i have played. u fly against other ppl and the game is just like the show on the History channel. its a WWII game. very good lots of planes.
U wont be disapointed. I played Aces High but did not find it as exciting. Dog Fights is a good show but the game is really lacking in everything. I know its free but I was hopping for something like u see on the show.

I know you have heard about the best game in all of Air Sims*IL-2 Sturmovik* so why not go check it out it's got a huge online line community of online airwar about in the millions,.....but it's all free seriously check it out at

IL-2 Sturmovik...yeah, that game blows too, I get an error saying I have no internet connection and to top that off when it ask me to create an account all I get is a blank white page in my browser when I click the create account link...thats it, I give up! Geeze, cant I get a decent easy home (not online) fighter sims game.
Oh yeah, I think I tryed the game or some online game the OP mentioned quite a while back, some ace fighter game or something...and it worked...but shooting down planes were pretty much impossible, this is assuming you can even get within firing range of a fighter which I was never able to do (and it gets quite boaring flying around for 20 minuts doing nothing and chasing little barely visible black dots on the screen).
So far in my off and on search for a good fighter game for about year now I have yet to find a good one...I think I'll stick to race games like NFS, at least there easy, usually work, and require minimal keyboard controls to play.
