Unearthing Ancient America

On the Unearthing Ancient America episode of the paranormal podcast on Itunes, I was left with questions. It was said that while the U.S. troops were making a base on an uinhabited,small island in Alaska to fght the Japanese, it is said that the troops came upon a discovery. They found over 1000 of skulls. The general boxed up a few and sent the off to the Smithsonian. He called to make sure they got there and the did a few days later. When he had time, he got word back from the Smithsonian's tests that they were Aztec skulls IN ALASKA. After the generals time was finished in the army, he went back to the Smithsonian to investigate his find. The Smithsonian told him that they had no record of the skulls ever. The podcast I listened to brought up the idea of conspiracy or cover-up.
Does anyone know about this?
