NEW DISCOVERY in the Great Pyramid!!!

I was watching a show a couple of yrs ago where they had found some new tunnels in the GP. National Geographic or some channel had a 1hr and half special on it. With about 15-20 min of them acctually showing the new find, the rest of the program went into history of the GP and how it was built.
These tunnels were very small, so small you needed a Remote Control Car or vehicle to go in there. What is interesting about these tunnels is that Stone plugs with Man Made Handles were put in them to Block SOMETHING.
The show featured that Egyptian guy who is the Head of Egyptian Archeology in Cairo...He's been in quite a few shows....I dont know his name. He was the one who was heading up this find.
Anyways, to make a Short Story Long, they drilled a little hole through the stone plug and put a camera through it with the RCC because the Egyptian Gov't would not let them destroy the plug....Understandable... They finally broke through by time the show was over and discovered...........another man made stone plug....
After that show had ended they said they would have another program to show what was behind that 2nd Stone Plug..... I thought it was very interesting because the Archeological guy said that there is no good reason for those to be there....so there must be more to these passageways
That was 2 or more yrs ago and havnt heard anything since... Does any1 remember that show or have heard any new Info about it.

I remember hearing something about this, but I haven't heard as much as I would like. The Egyptologist, Dr. Zahi Hawass, was most likely the 'expert' you saw. There have been quite a few 'finds' in the pyramids, that have been overlooked or discarded that really should be explored more.
