Totally their fault!
It was their pigheaded refusal to allow drilling for oil in the new fields and their pigheaded demands for banks to give bad loans!
IT'S THEIR FAULT AND NOW THEY ARE MAKING THINGS WORSE WITH THEY'RE MONKEYING WITH THE ECONOMY!

It is not only their fault, the Obmanition's "handlers" triggered the Stock Market crash just in time to give him the Election.

You're forgetting two other important names, Chris Dodd and Barney Frank who contributed mightily to the debacle.
While on the subject of names, there's James Earl Carter and William Jefferson Clinton, whose adminstrations gave birth, shape, and form to the abomination known as the Community Reinvestment Act. Then there are Andrew Cuomo and Barack Hussein Obama who used the provisions of said act to aggrandize and polish their respective political images at the eventual severe, massive expense and detriment of the People.
The Democrats have perverted the originial founders intent of "Government, of, by, and for the people" to mean an exclusive, select group of people, the Democrats and their constituencies.
The rest of us, the philosophical descendants of the people who built and defended this country, are condemned to labor, interminably in the quarries, carrying the massive blocks of stone in rucksacks on our backs, to pay for their excesses and misguided policies.

You goof. The recession reared its ugly head back when heir Bush tried to stall it with the Stimulus Checks he gave us. He worsened it with the Tax Cuts, which did nothing more than reduce Federal Revenues.
You cons know as much about economics, as your leaders have shown that they know the difference between the Pre-amble to the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

Today, it doesn't matter the cause or who did what over a year ago. Now, today, it is the Democrat's and Obama's to either fix or fail at. That is reality. Blaming Bush isn't going to work. Not now not next year.
So, come 2010 and the mid-term elections if the economy is still stuck in a rut and the Democrats are still trying to blame Bush they will only find that the combination is making them look like a whinney bunch of little girls who can't get their act together to the public. It will cost them dearly at the polls.
That is reality.

1. Obama did his own stimulus checks early in his term!
2. The Bush tax cuts had nothing to do with this Recession but they ended the last one moron!
Fact: High taxes hurt the Economy because people have less to spend on goods and services thus leaving businesses with less money to pay WORKERS thus forcing layoffs?
It's not rocket science!
