> Nixon never had a townhall meeting. > > All his "media" events were well choreographed > cheerleading sessions. > You say this although Thomas who is on the left and has sat through many a years worth of press conferences and YOU I am quite sure have sat through none disagree. Obama has a press conference today and makes jokes and not ONE question concerning North Korea. Yeah he is all about change. -- I would hope that a wise white man with the richness of his experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than any one else who hasn't lived that life.

reply to gibran's post gibran: s " Also, Obama was suppose to be about change, it is amazing how his behavior is justified by him just acting like Bush. " response: Once again gibran willfully mischaracterizied what was asserted, what was actually asserted is that those now attacking Obama have seemingly forgotten that Bush did the exact same thing and therefore Helen can't be accurate in her assertion that it never happened before. Also those complaining about it should have no problem acknowledging that Bush did in fact engage in such activities yet you Gibran can't even bring yourself to admit it straight up. What a sham From Bush's plants in his whitehouse press conferences to his faked town hall meetings to pretend you don't recall or remember them happening is the perfect example of your selective memories. spondulix

101, you respond three times in one subthread without adding anything to the conversation. You end with a " ". I find it hard to take people seriously you just respond to posts with a simple minded response, response after response. Take the time to show us some real background on who was allowed into this meeting with the President. Give us something other than your personal responses. I don't recall you doing very much linking to facts. I know this is an opinion board but even opinions should have some basis of fact behind them. Otherwise it's not an opinion, it's a dogma.
