HR that turned out to be nothing but a big fat DNC lie, did they forget to tell you? Besides, we were told, by BO, that he was going to be different. He can't be different if you are going to make excuses for him by comparing him to Bush. -- I would hope that a wise white man with the richness of his experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than any one else who hasn't lived that life.

Considering her 8-year swoon at clinton, one would think that maybe NWO-Bama ain't the "saviour" that he claimed to be ...

I guess Helen Tomas will be subjected to all sorts of harassment now. They will probably retire her out of the Press Corps within a month or so. -- I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter...

reply to pops pops: "When Helen Thomas was attacking Bush and his spokesperson the Left applauded her. Now that she says something against the Obama administration she is attacked.........so typical of the Left " response: Interesting coming from you pops. I would ask you if you were just as critical of Bush in all his organized infomercials, where all the questions were pre arranged? can you demonstrate that you are not guilty of exactly what you are asserting the left is guilty of doing? Did you ever attempt to defend the Bush machine when they engaged in doing so? Iif you are guityt then should I be able to mischaracterise the right as all being guilty by your assertions? Do you really think that it is fair to judge the whole by the actions of a fewr? I would like to see any post by you where you ever critized the bush administration for doing to same thing. It is all to easy for you and your kind to make assertions, that you yourself are guilty of asserting. with regards to amyone who engages in planted questions, if they do not inform the viewer that is going on it is dishonest, nor does it matter wich side engages in it. Bush engaged in it durring his election campaigns and I know he also did so in his town hall meetings. Will you acknowledge that he did so? That would help your credibility by doing that. I admit that I don't know if Obama engaged in the same activity that Bush engaged in but if he did he is equally quilty. spondulix

“What the hell do they think we are, puppets?” Thomas said. Yup, you're supposed to be sock puppets telling us exactly what Obama and the administration want us to know and nothing else. You aren't being a good little Obamabot Helen. You're going to lose your seat in the press room if you don't get back in line. -- Proud to be a Right Wing Extremist according to Homeland Security's new definition. Can Obama bankrupt this country? HE'S DOING IT NOW! If Jimmy Carter could create a big enough backlash to give us Reagan, four years of Obama should be sufficient to bring James Madison back from the grave.

Good point but that didn't make the sharpshooter a better shooter. Whaaa, you want Gibbs replaced with someone who knows what he's doing? -- Proud to be a Right Wing Extremist according to Homeland Security's new definition. Can Obama bankrupt this country? I've always like Helen. She's been one of the few journalists that isn't frightened of or bows to, power. She's been going after Obama for a while now. Conservatives have missed it because the attacks are from the left. That spoils the view that Obama and his administration is left wing. http://www.thebostonchannel.com/helenthomas/index.html Obama has been feeding pablum to the press and for the most part they lick it up. Unfortunately for the right wing, conservative media is so set on pushing pablum of their own that they can't do actual journalism. I can say that I'm surprised that Ms. Thomas, and all the posters here have forgotten Jeff Gannon. A male practitioner of the oldest profession that was planted by the Bush folks to ask softball questions. How soon we forget that pro-war former military officers as "non-biased" experts in the media, under the direction of the Bush defense department. Helen missed the mark with the Nixon comparison. But her misses are much closer than the hits of other journalists.

No surprise that my post or yours will not see any responses which point to the hyprocrisy of the right now attacking the left when they were silent and in fact defended Bush doing so. well that's politics, but it doesn't make it right. spondulix
