News Media Recanting Biased Reporting on Iranian Arms To Lebanon

Nov 4, 2009 8:52 PM
Early today, Israel claimed that it stopped a shipment of arms headed for Lebanon's Hezzbollah. Rather than researching or investigating this, the news media ran with it and reported the incident based on Israel's accusations.

Now the media has apparently thought twice about how it reported the news, and now uses words like "alleged" and "claim".

In fact, this time around the report is that the military claims that they have a shipping document showing that the shipment originated in Iran, but then went to Syria, and then from Syria to the Cyprus waters.

Clearly, either Iran or Syria or both could have been implicated. Regardless, the Israeli Army refuses to show the supposed documents they claim they have as proof.

You mean, Hizbollah denies and you believe. The following is a BBC article.

Hezbollah denies arms ship claims

Lebanese militant group Hezbollah has denied Israeli allegations it was the intended recipient of weapons on board a ship seized by Israel's military.

Can you prove with evidence that all the claims made by the media yesterday are falls. Can you prove that all the weapons shown in the videos are made in Israel?

MPA, may be you like Al Jazera reports. I am willing to help.

Syria and Iran deny arms boat claim

Syria has denied that a cargo ship loaded with hundreds of tonnes of weapons seized by Israel, was transporting Iranian arms to Syria.
