Clever. Last time that happened to me I used a 3/8" drill and bit.....

That's what I meant. I used a butter knife to do just that. You have to finish the bottle though... oh well.

Well, you can always put a tinfoil lid on it - that's even ritzier. My main gripe is twist-off beer caps - NOT! Unless I develop hide on my fingers like a monkey wrench, it's the old church key for me.

You got to remember those are non-american bottles, which means they are made using quality materials.
In the USA that bottle would have shattered on the first impact, given our capitalist system promotes minimizing costs for materials, so as to increase profits.

Na, just fill your coffee back up mug and polish it off.

I developed that hide while tending bar. I eventually switched to a speed opener.
