disappearance in California

Hello! I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this message. If it's not, I apologize.
A couple of months ago I watched a documentary on the History Channel about a man in California who disappeared in the mid-late 1990's. I cannot remember his name, but he was an inventor and a successful businessman who was working on advanced electronics inventions, teleportation , energy, etc..He disappeared while driving along the highway. Does anyone remember the program ? or the man's name ?

no but that sounds interesting.
(maybe thats why i cant find a good man they disappear lol)
happen to be in berkeley?
teleportation sounds very berkeleyish and bay area-like lol

Hey, that really happened to me in the early 1980s, out in the desert near what used to be Goffs, NV. I was taken up into the ship via the Golden Beam of Light. Later, when I was returned, I had "lost" almost an hour of time. This was verified by my punch card from work. I'm glad I was able to come back! I have seen either this ship or another one many times since, and they have invited me to come up many times since but I have declined.
