I'm looking for a red dot sight for my Romanian WASR-10 (AK). Anyone know a good brand to get? This is one subject where I know absolutely nothing. Keep in mind I'm a poor college student and can't spend more than $100. Thanks, guys.

Have a look around the gun counter at your local Dick's Sporting Goods/Gander Mountain/Cabela's store. They should have a few to look at.

Well, Gunny, I've actually changed my mind of the red dot. I'm partial to iron sights as it is, and being the poor college student I am, I think I'll not spend that $200-$300 on one.  I've got to admit, I shot it this weekend for the first time, and my God, I never thought an AK would be that fun to shoot.

Dude, you can find a decent red dot or holographic sight for way less than that. I saw a replica EOTech 550 holographic sight today for about $120.

Hmm, I might look into that. I just need to find a decent attachment rail. There are a lot of crappy AK products out there.
