Australian Hvy Cruiser HMAS Canberra

I'm watching the episode on Guadalcana (maybe ironically) in Tokyo. The USS Marine landing on Gaudalcanal is mentioned and the naval gunfire that supported it is emphasised. But no mention that that the landing was a combined Allied operation with 8 cruisers and 15 destroyers from the British Royal Navy providing the naval gunfire. The narrator lists the four cruisers lost at the battle of Savo Island including Canberra. No mention at all that it is an Australian ship. No mention of the British ships. No mention of Australian aircraft operating out of PNG and Townsvile. Yes, the emphasis of this show is the USS Enterprise, but it was entirally appropriate to mention the Australian and British contribution. Anyone watching this show would be completing igorant of the Allied effort here, thinking it was solely an American operation. No one is taking away the importance of the US in the Pacific War but it would be nice if other nations were acknowledged when appropriate. This is exactly this sort of omission in US programming that upsets us.
