I will gladly share my videos IF....

As a soldier who is soon to be stationed in South West Asia, I will gladly share my homemade videos with the history channel and, when I return, I will contact the listed email address. In the meantime, I think it is time that the history channel staff starts to direct their prime time lineup toward "actual" history and relevant programing, rather than relying on shocking, apocalyptic speculation. I love the scientific, historic, and informative shows, really...I enjoy this network and own many DVDs and iTunes downloads. But, I have to change the channel when these half baked, "In 350 Million years it COULD happen!" programs come on. They no doubt increase ratings, but offer little and they beg the question, "Why is the history channel citing Hollywood movies and consulting fire and brimstone preachers?" Yikes! I'm sure other people agree, but my thread search hasn't turned up anything and I expect this post to be deleted. I guess we shall see how much the history channels wants my videos. This sounds interesting, I would watch the videos if it showed on the history channel. ----------------------------- caribbean singles

Seems those shows deserve to be on the sy fy channel, right? You must understand however, almost all channels have to get decent ratings to remain on the air. Without the ratings, there are no endorsments. For example, I've been channel surfing and discovered the cartoon channel showing a show that wasn't a cartoon. I agree it does seem odd for the history channel to show shows that has nothing to do with history, but I'll take the good with the bad and if it's something I don't like, I'll just change the channel and let all the other little kiddies have fun with what's on. I hope they never take "the universe" off though. I love that show.
